According to BBFC the two new R18 Ben Dover Videos, BEN DOVER'S PUTTIN' ON THE BRITS and BEN DOVER'S BUTT BANGERS BONANZA have 'Hot Rod Productions Ltd.' as the distributer whilst all the previous R18 Vids have 'Ben Dover Productions'.
Will the new vids be available in the same shops in Soho (Priate)or do they supply different shops? If so does anyone know which ones?

Could be Ben poking fun at himself as his previous looks have been mentioned numerous times on this forum and Rod Stewart's name has cropped up along with Keith Harris et al.

Also I seem to remember reading that when Ben was a stripper his stage name was Hot Rod.

Is it me or these old videos that have been submited for 18R classification.As a long time admirer of Bens work it does tick me off that so many of his titles are rehashs. There are some new sets on TV X that I am hoping make it to tape soon?

They are pretty old, but they haven't been out on proper R18 before. More to the point (personally speaking), hopefully they will be coming out on R18 DVD as well, as at the moment the only pre-2001 BDs on DVD seem to be the two Cumming Of Age compilations.

If you mean R18 DVD, yes, but there is earlier stuff on DVD. I'm afraid you'll have to use mail order though.

I have seen "Hot Rod Productions" distribute a bunch
of titles, mainly older U.S. ones, using the brand
"Hod Rod Blue." Jameson's "Wicked Weapon" was one. They
distribute to all the usual Soho Sex shops - when they comes
available you are sure to find it in one of the Brewer St.
stores - "Soho Original Books/Videos" being the best of them.
Or, if you cannot wait - mail order via Your Choice...
although it will be more expensive. Both good

I am not sure why there is now another distributor
involved - they probably have rights to some of Ben's older
Material. Royal Reamers 2 is brand-spanking new and
is copyright 'Ben Dover Productions - 2002.' Perhaps
Ben would like to comment himself ?

I have to offer 'Hot Rod Productions' some personal praise.
They have customized their box covers for the UK market -
if there is a Brit Girl in the movie, they make a specific
note of it on the back cover. Alright, the girl
is usually Nici Sterling or Roxanne Hall - but they
are making an effort!
