So much for the armchair media critics who have probably never run further than the nearest pub and questioned her mental strength in major competitions. World championship record - more than a minute up on the second place, three minutes up on third place. The only British gold medal winner at these games, the marathon world record holder by several minutes. I've watched her thru the ups and downs. Saw her win her first track gold at Manchester Commonwealth Games.
This is her finest moment. Fuck her critics.
