Mr Bronson is dead!!!

Another one bites the dust, and another victim of cancer.
Good actor and a great guy, can't believe he was only 65, he appeared to be nearly that when he was bellowing "YOU BOY!" at Danny Kendall and co 20 years ago.
He was also Herr Grunwald in the original series of Auf Weidersein, Pet as well playing Hitler in Indiana Jones and George Lucas's favourite ever screen death in Star Wars, not to mention a bus depot manager in "Holoday on The Buses"

A much-loved cult figure. Although best remembered as Bronson, and being killed by Vader in The Empire Strikes Back, his scene as Hitler in Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade was my favourite---absolutely hilarious.

must have been 40 odd then in grange hill;must say the danny kendall episodes were quite moving.

Sad news he was still quite young. I always thought he was older for some reason.
I remember him as the great Mr Bronson in Grange Hill and also remember seeing him in Doctor Who and Holiday On The Buses.

A brilliant actor, got to meet him several times, he was a regulat at Sci Fi conventions like memorabilia in Birmingham NEC every year, Indeed known for his role in Grange Hill & Empire Strikes back amongst the ones that stand out... A top actor!!! He will be remembered by many fans for a long time!!
