A recent article in The Atlantic Monthly outlined the interrogation techniques pioneered by Marine Major Sherwood F. Moran, used very successfully with Japanese prisoners in WWII.
Symptomatic of the unease felt by many ex-Marine interrogators over current US techniques in Afghanistan and Iraq, Moran's instructions were posted on the website of the MCITTA. The website also published this article
