Just finished listening to the footy on the radio.
Does anyone else find Alan Green and Adrian Chiles intensely irritating??!?
Green is an over-critical loudmouth and Chiles is a stuttering buffoon.
Just had to get it off my chest...

He irritates me too.
And they ruined Radio 2 when they put Dermot O' Leary on.....

I used to love listening to the footie on Five Live but 'Greenie' drives me to the edge of violence everytime he's on.
Criticising everyone from ref's to the bloke operating the turnstile.
Self important arse.
I can't listen to the bloody station anymore.

Jonathan Pearce is different gear.....................his commentaries on Five Live are superb. Much better than Green.

I miss the actuall footy when Jonathon Pearce is on. I laugh at his comnentary too much !!!

I quite like head of steam Green, though he's at his best when pacified by the old school intelligence of Jimmy Armfield.
We could do without Mark Lawrenson mind:
R5 yesterday during the admittedly lack-lustre Man U/Liverpool kickabout: (facetiously) "When's the cricket on?"

Try listening to TalkSport (1053 and 1089), also live on Sky & Freeview
and the internet
They do some live commentary, and have lots of phone-ins.
In the afternoon Hawksby & Jacobs are hilarious. They are great footie
fans, and do silly interviews, silly quizes, and are always making each
other laugh (and the audience).

I can't listen to TalkSport. Too many adverts.......and I HATE adverts!!!!
James Whale is fucking great though!
