Am I wrong? but did I not read somewhere that his "assistants" set up all his shoots and all he did was to press the shutter release.

Just another Royal scam artist.
Probably employed a gang of sweet looking boys to help out on the shoot.

Gee nachovx. You really are full of the milk of human kindness.
And to think I get flamed on here for being negative.

I've got no time for royalty or their hangers on. I don't really regard them as human in the true sense, so it's hard to have any compassion for them. I'm sure they don't really care about the lives of the ordinary man in the street.

I'm not sure that you care much for the man in the street either.

So what? Lichfield did the tricky stuff - decide on the shot (lighting, composition etc) and his assistants just followed his instructions. No big deal, just the way things are done in many creative fields. He was very talented indeed.
