From The Times 18 Nov. 2005.

" If you are looking for an escape from TV hell, I suggest an evening of DOGGING, having just been to the launch of the British Racing Board?s five-year plan for revitalising their sport. The sport is up against not only changing fashions in leisure, hungry property developers and a boom in gambling online, but also misguided animal rights activists looking for a cause and the fashion for bashing anything seen as ?chav culture?. Yet greyhound racing remains one of the most exciting live spectacles around, especially at a fine stadium such as Walthamstow, my local track. Britain might not be the nation of little losers that some depict, but it would be better still if more of us were going to the dogs.
