Now that was a suprise, being told to 'Fuck Off'
I have always liked Keano for his honesty saying it like it is, and always relished him and Viera in their battles on the pitch.
He's a yard off the pace these days, and I will certainly miss him knocking lumps out of players. Hopefully, his banned interview slagging his team mates might surface, but all he said is what ALL Man Utd and other football fans have said for the past 2 years, basically that Rio Ferdinand is a shit player

Re: Roy Keane
They haven't really been the same since Beckham left. Ferguson got rid of him because they weren't getting along, and now he's done exactly the same thing to Roy Keane.
To be honest, I never really rated Keane anywhere near as highly as everyone else seemed to. If the premiership referees had any balls both him and Viera would have been sent off a lot more often, but they got away with a hell of a lot of fouls just because of who they were.

Re: Roy Keane
Although a great midfield general, as far as I am concerned he will always
be considered nothing more than a thug by me for his tackle on Haaland.
This was a deliberate over the top tackle which ended a footballers career.
He admitted is was deliberate in his book.
If he had done the same thing in any other walk of life he would have got a
prison sentence, as it was he got banned for 5 games and fined ?150,000
pounds.
He should have been banned from football for life.

Re: Roy Keane
Totally agree! 3 ex munichs have ended the careers of City players......
George Best - broke Glyn Pardoe's leg 1970
Martin Buchan - Colin Bell 1975
Roy Keane - Alfie Haaland 2000
Red scum! And they didn't even win any of the above matches either!

Re: Roy Keane
as a Leeds fan I have no love for Mancs or Keane, but it's not correct to say he ended Haalands career, his injury which eventually forced him to retire was due to the other knee that was knackered, not the one Keane tried to snap
we are Leeds.... , and we can still beat the mighty Chester
Roy's Keen
I've never seen a keener window cleaner.......
They're locking them up today, they're throwing away the key...I wonder who it be tomorrow, you or me?
Re: Roy Keane
As a Manc born and bred, I have fuckall respect for Leeds. Shite team, shite management, shite fans, shite songs, shite ground. You'll be playing Coventry for a few years yet. And you've been relegated more times than us! HA!!

Re: Roy Keane
What a short memory you've got Mate
I seem to recall a certain Leeds player leading Man U to 4 titles & 2 FA Cups in 4 years in the mid nineties.I doubt without him they would have been as winning
While we're labelling Clubs shite it wouldn't be hard to label Man Us non-achievements in Europe as Shite.Only 1 Real Trophy in over a decade while being the dominant force in the EPL with a financial powerbase unmatched by anyone bar the recent rise of Chelsea
Makes you laugh when you consider Liverpool have had 2 good years in that time but have managed to win one more trophy in Europe
For the record I'm a neutral
cheers
