Seriously the most overrated comedy of all time. Even a 4 year old could write a Little Britain script. It's easy! Here's a couple of Little Britain sketches I came up with...

ONE: THE BOXING MATCH

Lucas: I don't like him

Walliams: I'm gonna have to leave you alone m8, I'll get us some crisps? How does that sound?
Lucas: I don't like crisps.
*AS WALLIAMS LEAVES, LUCAS GETS OFF HIS WHEELCHAIR AND STARTS KICKING THE ABSOLUTE SHIT OUT OF TYSON IN THE BOXING RING AND QUICKLY GOES BACK TO HIS CHAIR BEFORE WALLIAMS RETURNS*
Walliams: So who won m8?
Audience: PMSL

TWO: LOL I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GAY

Overrated and unoriginal as regards to sketches and characters(voices etc)
influenced by 50s,60s radio and tv.A few laughs in the first series but this is just indulgence -the obvious and usual from todays 'comics/writers'.I can just hear Walliams saying to Lucas:'We've had a lot of success with this show so whatever we put in it now will be funny'.

Shame that our bigest most awarded comedy is about as funny as robins nest and as intersting as x factor. could that be why it is our biggest comedy show but while were talking about bollocks wot about supernova?

were you a little prejudiced before watching it?

saw them live the other day, was very good. The simpleness makes it effective

Not at all bigdave, one of the guys at work said I should watch it because it was hilarious so I did. About the only thing that could raise even a smile from me was Lou and Andy the rest I thought was just crap.

But like you say - each to their own. What one person finds funny another finds crap! If we all thought the same the world would be a very boring place imho!
