Organ donation

After the huhah over George's liver, who'd give up their organs?
I am convinced that the massive shortage means that the hospital would whip 'em out even if you're 'almost' dead......but not quite.
I recall a government idea that ALL organs would be removed unless you carried a card specifically authorising them not too.
Put it this way, if I die, all my bits stay with me unless Im wholly convinced you are REALLY dead before they take them.
I am convinced, one day......probably in the US, someone will blow the whistle and state some organs were removed while the patient STILL had a chance of recovery
