Now as we know R18s can only be sold in the UK through licenced sex shops so does that mean once purchased you have to keep them for life and when you depart this earth for planeterotica you have to beqeath them in your will to your loved ones or can you legally sell them on once they are seconhand also there is no vat on seconhand goods, (do i detect a chain of seconhand shops opening up all over the country) qustions and answers please to,

the law makes no distiction between new or second hand classification. r18 is a classification for life and can only be sold in licensed adult shops even if it is 4th hand as is the practise with just about every adult shop in the land. you buy one full price then take it back and buy the next one reduced and the one you brought back goes in the bargain bin for the next customer. with some of the midlands shops they offer a free second title as long as the customer sticks with the same producer. so like the advert i sed you buy one you get one free

So thats it then Mad Burt if you dont want to exchange them you are stuck with them for life nice legacy to leave in your estate, funny thing is i have seen a few being sold in general auctions from house clearances where i assume the owner has popped their clogs or it could be someone was just having a clear out.

Wasn't there a TV series which coined the idea of a Porn Buddy who clears it all out of your place if you should meet with a sudden (fatal) accident?

Dont know about that mart but does anyone believe that all the R18s are going to be exchanged in sex shops, i think not you will probably find a lot at boot sales and even on ebay.

well i thought you were talking about the legal route of adult sales and although i could never encourage anything ilegal there are many other ways of buying and selling such material. im told in your local free ads at the back there is a section titled car boot markets or computer fairs where you may find people of interest. i would have to ask that no one buys or deals in such matters

I don't think anyone is ever going to be prosecuted for disposing of their own personal goods. There are all sorts of laws that apply to genuine traders that aren't or can't be applied to small ads or friend to friend. If I buy 3 bottles of whiskey and then decide to sell one to a colleague, I don't need a liquor license ... I could sell you an old fridge with unsuitable cfc filling or a lawn mower with an dangerous electrical fault, but a trader would be hammered if he did the same.

That was of course the excellent 'Coupling'. I don't know the episode but am sure it wasn't in the first series & probably not the second.

PS Where are these house clearance auctions?
