I had the misfortune to download her CD from some Russian site ... together with the one from Kelly Clarkson. The pair of them are absolutely dire .... good case for try before you buy, then don't.

Not at the time ... the CD's had just been released and I'd never heard of either of them. They were just in the US top 10 and I d/l them on the off chance they may be ok - they weren't. But other stuff randomly chosen has been unexpectedly good.

Manilli Vanilli could actually sing but the infamous album was being used to expose 3 others who didn't have the looks

My point was Jessica Simpson & her sistser Ashlee seem to be on the same level...able to sing but also know to lip-synch live

As elton john pointed out anybody who lip-synchs live deserves to be shot

Could be a replacement for fox hunting...elton and invited guests get to hunt down known lip-synching artists like madonna & jessica
