is this a new slang word ?i heard it in yesterdays eastenders episode.

I think characters in comics like the Beano & Dandy used to say Guffaw - A hearty, boisterous burst of laughter. Were they not saying guffawing.
But maybe it's a new homo term .... sounds like something Elton John and his missus would get up to !happy!

Guffing is defenatly a fart. used it alot a school boy, in sunny Hamphire.
