The Piper is 60??? Happy birthday! I first heard Syd Barrett when I was 12 or 13 and I preferred his stuff over The Wall which was out around that time. My older brother was well into Floyd in the 70s but he hated the 60s stuff so I used to get a regular beating if I played those records! The twat! Mind you I'd get a regular beating for anything!
