Rabbit's feet.

Ma wee ol' Mammy gave me a lucky white rabbit's foot that she has had since the fifties. Great, that ?70m Euro jackpot is surely mine.
Yet, it begs the question- what makes such an item lucky? What is the lore, myth and tradition behind such an artifact?
In my view, a wee white bunny was running about the field, eating grass, humping, smoking fags, making burrows and humping again whence some big human eejit comes along, twats bunny with a shovel or a gun and then proceeds to hack off it's paw as a keepsake of this momentous occasion.
That's a rather sad and sorry chain of non-events, and feckin' shite luck, to esteem said paw as being a manifestation of luck!!
