Hotel Babylon-Is it just Crossroads without Benny?

I watched this last night and it did remind me of that 70's classic, Crossroads. I admit the sets didn't fall over and it was all quite hi-tech, but all in all I think Crossroads was more entertaining.

I bet "Hotel Babylon" does'nt have a character that goes out for a spanner and does'nt come back for nine months, like Benny did...oooh,ahhh, mizz Dianne..

Considering the amount of rubbish that is on tv, I don't think 'Hotel Babylon' is at all bad. Apart from the fact that it is set in an hotel I can't really see the connection with Crossroads.
