Munich

Anyone seen it yet?

I don't know - I can't help but be disappointed at Spielberg movies these days.
He's not what he was.
It was good but it seems the critics are overrating it slightly.
And it's so long.......a fault I find with so many movies these days.
Directors don't seem to know when to exercise the cutting room scissors anymore.
Whatever happened to the 90 minute movie?

Tell you what though - Daniel Craig is going to make a cracking Bond.

(But he does have me to thank for knocking back the 007 role)

Not seen it yet Spielberg putting me off - hasn't made a decent film for years.

But whatever it is, it will never come close to being the excellent 'One Day in September'. Possibly one of the best Documentaries ever made IMHO, you really should see this.

will try and seek it out.
Much as i learnt from Spielberg's film....you can't really learn history from Hollywood movies...

On the contrary, the critics I've been reading have been panning it. As opposed to the 8's and 9's out of ten simpering platitudes, it's been getting meagre 5's and 6's. I normally reserve judgement (despite my instinct for a poor movie) until I've watched a film- but word-of-mouth is more powerful than some toffee-nosed, whimsical, purple-prosed sycophantic critic.

Hence, on hearing what you have to say, Jock, and from what mates have said- rent only.

Have you seen Schindler's Tits? Porno tearjerker. Need lots of tissues at the end!!

Are you still doing the Hicks tribute? I think I'll be up that weekend.

I'm away to crack one off.
