yesterday in nottingham,makes you think what the worlds coming too.

Well it was in Nottingham Steve and maybe that shouldn't surprise us.

Nope it certainly doesn't suprise me , living in between nottingham and derby . What does suprise me is these that come on tv saying how quite a place it is and you never hear of any thing like that happening around here , makes me think they're talking about somewhere else . JJ .

It seems to be forgotten that Nottingham was the FIRST (and perhaps STILL the only) force to have ROUTINE ARMED FOOT PATROLS... Nottingham ha sa SERIOSU gn crime problem - many of the shootings in neigbouring force areas have been trace dback to a having a Nottingham connection.

I know several coppers and none of them want to carry a gun. I think you would find mass resignations if the police was armed. What we need is more aggressive policing of these areas, fight fire with fire, the namby pamby approach fails where nutters are involved.

........and when people are convicted of serious violent crimes then lets give them serious sentences to match!!!

totally agree JJ, i live in Derby but will not go anywhere near Nottingham at night.

aw well droogy (oo 3rd [person) lives in derby and plans to go to nottingham uni next year....so i guess im fucked...nto to m,ention then fact im pissed outta head ansd writing at this time of morning on line. gonna regret this.sorry for fucking up ur nice lil thread...may bei9ll get shot then eh?hehehehe
