Great to see Wendy & Lisa and Sheila E in the band!
I've seen him several times on tour -stunning, especially the "Lovesexy" tour.
Don't see what all the fuss is about James Blunt though, other than his name being Cockney rhyming slang

Gutted, i listen to like 3 version of purple rain most days....the original and 2 live versions from the 80s. cant believe i missed it, though i wouldnt fancy watching thewhole fucking show !!

He was pretty astonishing and I hope it was a humbling experience for most of the artists sitting watching him. If people like Will Young thought to himself 'I'm not worthy' all I can say is 'Too fucking right mate'.
The Shaiser Chiefs have been touring solidly for about the last 6 months, so why did they sound so bad ? Prince was offering everything you want from a popstar, but above all talent !

I'm gutted I missed it too. Genius at work no doubt ! I didn't even know he was on therefore couldn't be bothered to watch all the other dross. Fuck me I'm gettin old !!!
