Posting photos & the FAQ

I was just looking at the FAQ as I wanted to post a photo.

Maybe it's great advice if you use Imageshack etc, but the photo I want to post is on my website anyway. The thing is I want to post the photo not a clickable link.

How do I do that?

Could 3.10 of the FAQ be re-written to explain more clearly how those of us NOT using a third party host can post a picture rather than a link?

(I did also try the "search" function but that was as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike)

Right-click on the image.

Select 'Properties'.

Highlight the full address.

Ctrl+C to copy it.

Ctrl+V to past it into your post.

Put the address between the [ img ] [ /img ] tags (without the spaces).

And there you have it...

This won't work if you have an .htaccess file set up to prevent the hotlinking of images on your site. Try doing this with an image on BGAFD and it won't work.
