What browser do you use?

FireFox?, Opera?, or Internet Explorer.
After trying Firefox, I only go back to IE when some sites aren't built for FF also tried Opera last week and found it just as good as FF. Try the alternatives to IE and you'll see the flaws in IE, you can have all three on your PC at once in case you prefer IE!

Firefox most of the time, IE for sites that require a login as my Password Manager does not work with Firefox otherwise I would switch permanently, Opera is basically Firefox except I find it does not like php websites too much.

IE7 is the worst fucking piece of shit Misro$oft have ever developed - avoid as if it's Mac Daddy with a pic of Sammy J and a mobile phone.

Firefox for browsing, Thunderbird for email and OpenOffice for word processing/database/etc

Other than Windows I live a Microsoft-free existence (and I'll soon be switching to Linux as my OS soon)

I would use Lynux as my OS System, I have tried it before but have they sorted out the problems with Direct X. I am a Gamer and 50 percent of my time on my PC is taken up with Gaming. Last time I tried Lynux the games would not even run, I would love to run Lynux, if they get the games issue sorted sign me up.

Firefox and Opera don't support ActiveX controls, so if the site you are on uses any you can only use IE

If a site uses ActiveX I don't switch to IE... I just go to another site that has what I'm looking for!

If a site has anything (Flash, ActiveX, etc) where I need to download a plug-in to view it, I just don't bother. If they can't be bothered designing a site that can be read by the most simple of browsers, then I can't be bothered doing business with them!

Mostly Opera, sometimes Mozilla (as it also gives me Composer), and IE if nothing else works and I really need to get to that site.

I avoid web sites that require specialist plugins, I can do without them, and I do not like the idea of installing software just to view a specific web page. The W3C tag looks fishy to me.

Must be lucky: still using IE and haven't had much problem with it on XP.

IE on Windows 2000 however......(shudders at the memory).

Firefox most of the time... we host almost everything on Linux and avoid Microsoft as much as possible.

But here's the rub - we've opted for windows media as our web site's video format (it's a good streaming format, Real's a pain to work with, and Microsoft's DRM seems to be the best).

Which means that IE is currently needed to browse Strictly Broadband - we're working on it. :(
