i have just finished watching this bbc series of 'yesteryear'.
i saw it on sendit.com for less than 8 quid and thought i remember that and bought a copy
anyhow, yes the acting is crap and the sets look very dated(not how i remembered it, for me it was 'must watch tv' when i was a kid) but i did enjoy watching it all the same
i was going to get the second series but the bbc have never released it and im not sure if they ever made the third and final part of the trilogy, can anyone remember if they did?

The series ended at the end of the second book. It was too slow and too pricey for the Beeb. If the hero had been a little more charismatic, I might have actually bothered tracking down John Christopher's novels and found out how it finished.
