"You cannot sell cigarettes to children, you cannot sell glue to children, but you can sell hardcore porn to children" - with regard to the new newsagents code which is not law but will be punishable by Trading Standards. (WTF!!!!)
Mental - what fucking planet do these do-gooder's live on? Because it ain't on mine.

You can't work it out Mart? Or are you supporting her?
Selling cigarettes to minors is a criminal offence. Selling glue to minors is a criminal offence. Selling hardcore porn to minors is a criminal offence. All af which will land you a minimum fine of at least ?1000 and with respect to glue possible imprisonment to.
So why is it that she saying you can actually sell harcore porn to kids? She has correlated Zoo, Nuts and Loaded etc. to hardcore pornography because "We are determined to ensure that the interests of children are appropriately safeguarded in this regard." That old chestnut and it is always used a the first weapon of State Censorship.
Wouldn't her "interests of children" be better served on the National Gun Register that was proposed after Dunblane?
Back to the point - what newsagents do you know that sells hardcore pornography to children? What newsagents do you know that puts hardcore pornography in a place other than the top shelf?
Waste of taxpayers money, patronising, moralistic 'State Thought' from a sensationist - she may as well be the Dail Mail !adolf!
