New World Cup Song?

I understand that a new World Cup Song is being recorded.
What on Earth for?
Was not absolute perfection in this form of the Art of St Cecilia finally reached when our Nation was given, by God, the gift of Three Lions?
Surely it is that noble anthem which must, for all time, be heard whenever our brave young men step forth to don the England Shirt?.

Real football fans enjoy "The Footie Song" by Adam and Joe.

Most England World Cup songs.................pish, pish, pish. In fact most World Cup songs........ditto.
However!!!!
What about 'Back home', the '70 track, the soundtrack to the Mexican conspiracy of forcing the players to eat poisoned fish-fingers and the Bobby Moore theft fiasco?
Hear me out.
Remember 'Perfect Day' by Lou Reed, brought into the 90s with lines sung by different artists?
Why not apply the same principle to 'Back Home'???
Line 1, "back Home.........." [David Bowie]
Line 2, "yadda yadda..........la la" [Kenny Rogers/ Jarvis Cocker duet]
Chorus: [all]
Line 3, [Simon leBollocks]
