It wasn't that long ago we were sending recruitment agencies abroad to hire nurses. I remember thinking it seemed wrong to be taking skilled people from places like the Phillipines.

Now we are making nurses redundant, and according to the government the NHS has never looked better....

It's a simple choice----we can't afford nurses and administrators, and we know which is the most valuable.

Its just another case of this goverment wasting our money, they threw millions at the NHS with no thought of how it will be spent so the administrators have probably lined their own pockets with all the dosh why those in the front line have seen very little benefit, and i doubt if there will be many admin staff made redundant.

Theres an office building in the midlands, just off the M1, that has just been built. Its let, on a 25 year lease to the NHS, office space lets at around ?16 psf and this unit is 30,000 sq ft = ?480,000 per year. The car park holds 800 cars, but still cars have to park on the roads around the estate. I'm sure no one knows how many work there...........

And what life saving, critical service does this building and staff offer ????????????????

i don't get it all the money the government get and they still can't manage to get stuff right ! we have high tax but we have crap schools - shit police - shitter NHS and don't get me started on the bumpy roads!

Maybe we should chuck all the stuck up suits out and get some real working men and women in ! or not pay em till they've done there job right.
