Does anybody know how to convert Bitmap format images to jpeg?

The reason I ask is, I have a few hundred Bitmap images I made using the capture function on Power DVD.

I want to watch them as a slideshow on my DVD recorder, but the machine only plays jpeg CD's.

Is it worth the hassle converting them?

Batch convert in photoshop or elements if you have it, if not what do you have? (if you need instructions let me know)

Is it worth doing? Oh yes - compare the file sizes before and after.

Google for "batch converter". There are quite a few, don't know which ones are freeware, most have a trial version.

I used photoshop and it did the lot in about two minutes.
