According to some news reports he must have more lives than the proverbial cat. He was described as having led several successful suicide bombing attacks.
Reminds me of the Kamikaze Pilots Annual Reunion.

Probably pissing himself laughing that the Americans made a bit player like himself into an international terrorist icon. They'll have to find a new "bad guy" now to keep the American public interested.
