Too slow, Steve56!!!

Former Pipe-smoker of the Year and professional Yorkshireman Fred Trueman has died.

Like every professional Yorkshireman, no one ever did anything better than he did, and his monotonous griping will NOT be missed!

Apparently he also played cricket, and his in-laws included Racquel Welch

A bit out of order there, Bob...Freddie was the best bowler England ever had. And in this world of spin-doctors , false hoods and lies- at least Fred said what he thought.

I was awe-struck by the bloke and his autobiography is a hoot! Yes, he was 'always right' but I can forgive him that. I hope you can too.

Sorry, but I NEVER forgive a Yorkshireman ANYTHING!!!

Let's not forget that apart from being professional "I can do anything better than you" types, they also murder inocent girls (YORKSHIRE Ripper) and plant bombs on London tube trains (YORKSHIRE terrorists)

He was not "the best" bowler. He may have been the first to 300 test wickets but even in his pomp there were far better bowlers... he just bore the batsmen out with his incessant blathering!

He will not be missed... except by Tykes.
