I love the SUN- the feel-good factor, T-shirts/ shorts, getting tanned, babes on parade..........
..........I hate the HEAT- sun/heatstroke, dehydration, sweatiness, inability to sleep at night. Heat drives me mental.
I know this ain't no cyber-chondriac chatsite, but sometimes I get mild panic attacks (palpitations etc) before sleep when too hot, or have been over-exposed to heat during the day- what is this?
Even though I feel well-hydrated, am I dehyrated? Or is heatstroke setting in? My doc gave me an unsatisfactory explanation (ruddy NHS) and said all i need to do is ensure that in extreme heat I should be drinking enough water to make me pee frequently. Nice and scientific.

Love the Summer....Up pub today the Ausie barmaid had shorts on that were more like little pink nickers.....
It's those bloody long grey winter spells that sights like that will seem a long way off.

I'm down here in Gloscestershire (South) & it's RUDDY HOTTER than a Funace of Full Blast, but yeah, turn it down a couple of degrees, say into the late 80's will do me fine.
FUCK the cold weather, it cost us over ?1,000.00 to heat this house over the winter. Fucking hell it was bad, stupid Coal Stove Fire, it aint worth a fucking piss on it.

I'm sorry, I had to laugh. I converted 30C to Fahrenheit & it came out to 86. I've spent every summer of my life in Florida, & take my word, 86 AIN'T hot. On the warm side of 'nice'.

Yes but i dont suppose you have winters in Florida where it drops to minus 10 and below as we do here in the UK otherwise you would think that 30c was hot!happy!
