After several of the top riders were excluded from the Tour de France before it even started, we now hear that the winner may also be excluded and the win handed to another!
Will (road) cycling ever get it's house in order?

No - been going on for years, remember Tommy Simpson? Died during the tour whilst using 'speed' in the 60's. You can't do what these guys do without supplements - legal or otherwise.

Should let them all take whatever they want, I don't see why some forms of performance enhancing drugs are acceptable and others aren't.
Robbie Fowlers nose clip a few years ago was supposed to increase his oxygen intake by upto 10%, and all legal, yet a drug to do the same would see him banned.
A couple of asprins to get rid of a headache could be said to be performance-enhancing to a defender who'll be heading the ball.

What an idot! 3 times the legal amount of testosterone, and he says it was natural?! Testosterone levels drop significantly during -and after- long periods of exercise so his testosterone levels should have actually been low.

I thought something wasn't quite right when on the 17th day of the Tour he won a mountain stage with ease having been blown away and left for dead the previous day on a similar stage.
