Thanks for your reply re porn stores in Chicago. I shall be staying downtown....any tips/recommendations on specific stores or districts of Chicago to go look in? Anywhere I absolutely shouldn't go?

If you go to a hotel that has a doorman, tell him you are in the adult film business. Tell him what you are looking for and he should be a great source of info. for you to follow.

As far as districts go,there is no red light district here.

If a doorman is not available try asking a cab driver where you can go, again they are a great source for adults who are looking for adult entertainment.

If you stay downtown it is very safe. If you venture outside of downtown you could very easily end up in a rough "hood" {ghetto}

Again just ask the people mentioned where you can go safely.
