Better things to do?

We are told today by John Reid that in terrorist attacks in Britain, we face 'the biggest threat since ww2'. I would disagree with him, (climate change is a for more serious danger to my mind) but were it true, what current laws would you repeal so that the police can concentrate their time and resources on this threat? Obviously if they stopped persecuting honest pornographers it would save a lot. By the way I do not consider the enforcment of traffic laws to be a waste of time. Now that has probably thrown the cat amongst the pigeons.

I wouldn't repeal any simply because the laws that were repealed would result in victims of those particular crimes.
Having been put 'second best' so the Police can accommodate another area I know what it feels like and wouldn't wish it on anyone.
There is no need to give the police more resources in this way they can create more simply by better utilising the resources they have.

Terrorism??
I get the impression from reading papers that the real enemy in the UK is anyone who travels by wheel, be it car or bicycle. Wouldn't there be an outrage if they were to stop persecuting commuters? Not to mention the fact that there MUST be a paedo on every street waiting to bugger and bury all our children!

Lighten up people. It was supposed to be ironic.
