If it were a business then the blindingly obvious thing would be for the League and Union codes to merge.
Plenty of synergies but sadly far too many ego's and historical entrenchments for it to happen.

Should be played in Winter, in freezing cold weather on muddy pitches, RL is going downhill by playing in the summer. And yes there is real obsession to keep Wigan up!
