I have got my 60gb Creative Zen Jukebox full of my music, it sounds great through the headphones.... I bought some plug-in speakers, they are not so great or very loud! They mostly have a 1watt output, some more but maximum seems to be 3 watts.
Does anyone have any idea how or what I could mate to the player that would produce something like loud decent sound? This is for using when I'm at work, therefore can plug the speakers in to mains but obviously the input would have to be (converted to) the headphone output jack. I don't want to "rock the world" but I would like output on a par with decent pc speakers, half-decent cd/radio.... Any ideas????

They're locking them up today, they're throwing away the key...I wonder who it be tomorrow, you or me?
Re: Speakers for MP3 players
You need 'active speakers' and not passive ones - basically ones with a built in amplifier.

Re: Speakers for MP3 players
If you have a radio or similar at work with a microphone socket, then you should be able to connect your MP3 player with a stereo jack to jack cable.
