Hunt Arrogance again....

Who the bloody hell do these folk think they are!!??
Very telling that they wanted the lady to keep quiet.
I note a hunt in Kent is having an open day at the kennels so kids can go and see the dogs.
"Prepare for some serious licking....." said a hunt organiser.
Pathetic.
One wonders whether they'll throw a fox to the dogs in front of the children so they can see it being ripped apart.
After all, that's what hunting's all about, isn't it?
Yours,
Sid

If only all this energy was directed toward some of the human issues we face we'd probably all be a lot better off.
Or failing that, they could all do something useful for the countryside and help keep the rabbit population down.

"I note a hunt in Kent is having an open day at the kennels so kids can go and see the dogs."
Is that before or after they shoot them because they're too old?
The dogs I mean.

Ever seen the damage a fox does to a henhouse? Fox hunting, then horse racing, then greyhound racing, pigeon fancying before long you'll want football banned as it hurts the grass. Stay in your town and leave the countryside to itself.

My cousin used that argument to justify her local hunt.
Once a year on Boxing Day, fat lot of good that did.

Now that they have their precious fox-hunting ban, the Animal Rights Fascists have already started beating up ANGLERS.
Where will it all end - a ban on fly-swatting because "flies have feelings"? Beating up dog-walkers and picketing kennels because it's "cruel" to have "living creatures" on a lead or in cages?

The biggest "Urban Myth" is that animals have human perceptions/feelings The concept aided & abetted by Disney et al. The "bunny huggers" would have everyone believe that the "animals of farthing wood" in reality really do love & help each other. What utter BOLLOCKS. Mr Fox would happily rip his furry mates to bits & try to eat them all. As would Mr Owl as he chats to Mrs Mouse.
The great unwashed don't like this, its too real for them..........hey! wake up it's a dog eat dog world, survial of the fittest!
There will always be apex predators around who don't kill just to eat.....guess what human beings are one of them. Cruelty is a purely human concept.
Consider the Eider duck, happily dismembering crabs & eating them alive....cruel? nah it's just a crab, or the Herring gull doing likewise to Eider chicks...cruel? oh yes, save them cos they're fluffy.
Animals exist to eat & procreate to maintain the species. Human beings likewise but with the bonus of creativity, ambition & supposed freedom of expresion.
Mind you this Govt are rapidly reducing us back to the level of animals by stifling/banning most of these differentials.

I agree with you in so much as the attitude of the people involved. But the "natural order" of things on this planet changed forever when humankind appeared Mart, (ask the Maori peope in your neck of the woods). Destruction & death has followed ever since.
And as the departed nutter Tony Banks once said" the only way to save this planet is the annihilation of human beings".
Mart, Since when is truth right wing? It's not about how it's done, fact is it's done. I've personally killed more foxes, Deer, Rabbits etc with my rifles than any hunt in existance. Has it made a difference? No.........they still breed & spread at speed. Did I enjoy doing it? Yes I did, was any of it wasted? no, it was all consumed as food. The point is, it's legal (still) It was my choice to quetly go about my task un-noticed. Otherwise the braying imbeciles hell bent on saving the world by banning everything to protect nothing would have probably bombed my car, burnt my house down & terrorised my wife & kids. There are far more important issues to resolve in the world than protecting vermin.
Perhaps one day they might succeed then we can all sit in our sterile land &watch the wind blow.
This right wing Fascist is off to watch the RL in the pub.
