Thousands Quit UK

Here?s a story that chimes with eroticartist?s avowed intention to quit the UK because it?s now shite. Seems more and more folks are becoming disillusioned and fed up that the major political parties are shafting them financially and socially, allowing the country to go to the dogs.

I fully admit I want to emigrate in the next 3 years...
My main reason for doing so is I'm not too keen on living in a socialist police state, I don't like being told what to think, what to eat, what to drive etc etc. I want my life to be free of political indoctrination and media-led bullshit. Secondly this place is slap-bang in the middle of, if not a global civil war something nearing it. I don't care about protecting the USA, I don't care about Islam, I despise religion and I don't want it to wreck my families life. I want to live somewhere "away from the shit", I want to be free.
If the chumps from Eastern Europe and the middle East want to bring their poverty and lifestyles here then so be it, I want to live somewhere with a future

DYNATECH,

It isn't a socialist police state, its a crypto-Tory police state still trying to hide under the guise of being Labour.

I quit 8 years ago and haven't regretted it once.

Thatcher and her gang of sychophantic, self serving morons, otherwise known as her Cabinet, were bad enough, Major was a true CON-servative, all family values whilst shagging Eggwhiner and now there is Blair, to be followed by Brown (and if you want to know what life will be like under him, read up on his great hero, Stafford Cripps).

Hi Officer,
I am quitting for several reasons, one is that I want to get back to a self sufficient lifestyle. I don't identify with any other the major parties. As a film-maker I am fed up the VRA,not only the censorship that allows the Americans a larger market but most of all that the film-maker cannot sell DVDS to his own public but to sexshops only.

I am tired of trying to change the law and losing my liberty.

When I am living in mainland Europe I will be no longer have to suffer state censorship from the supposedly independent BBFC and I can sell my films to whomever I want.
Mike Freeman.

Mysteryman, it doen't matter how "Right wing" the politics of the ruling party, the reality of what we turning into is a socialist police state, I'm sorry if that clashes with any rose-tinted views of "socialism" the reality is all men are not equal and never will be, and it is the suffocating cloak of being part of some mass dumbing-down in which there is no apparant escape that beckons me to a new life somewhere away from the UK, US & mainland Europe. People are being completely brain-washed and it is unsettling to be amongst it.

Can't blame anybody for wanting to leave. I lived abroad for a while in the mid 90s and the biggest regret I've had is coming back to this dump.

Now I've re-educated myself and got some decent qualifications I aim to go back abroad as soon as I've finished my PGCE in a month or so. And, I shall NOT be coming back next time.

Same old, same old. You want the country to educate you, and look after you if you're sick, but when you get the qualifications you want, you dump the country that educated you and pay taxes elsewhere. I fucking hate it when people take up places on some courses just to benefit another country. Some students can't get places and they wish to get jobs within the UK and help build a better place.

I know a couple that moved to Spain cos they said Britian was a dump. He stayed away 2 years and then got cancer. He decided Spain wasn't for him and came home to have treatment on the NHS. He then had the cheek to ask for a council house and complained when the council wouldn't put him where he thought he deserved to go. He still calls the country a pile of shit, and slams the NHS daily, but he's getting hundreds & thousands of poundsworth of treatment now and it looks like he'll survive the cancer. What fucking hypocrites these people are.

It should be made law that anyone who gets a degree within Britian, has to live & work within Britain for 10 years afterwards. Why should the country help you in education for you to get rich elsewhere?

Mike, I can tell that you are well pissed off with the Labour party's ugly middleclass lesbians (otherwise known as 'wimmin'). Those divi man haters have the ear of the Home Office and will be telling them that fuck films and girly mags are 'un PC' and 'demeaning to wimmin', and therefore should be banned to promote a more equal and inclusive society. Unfortunately, the bowler hat brigade who used to hold sway at the Home Office have, in recent years, been replaced by PC spouting, metrosexual, Nancy boys, who are only to willing to lend an ear to any kind of politically correct cack and the charlatans who cynically ascribe themselves victimhood.

Our once great nation is being dragged low and it?s citizens emasculated. No wonder folks are jumping ship.

I'd be interested to know where you think your rose tinted ideas are going to take you.
