How come, whenever you're watching the news channels on the television, and there's an article about obesity and they show clips of really fat lard-arses waddling down the street; they never show their faces.
You would think that if they showed their fat, sweaty, greasy mugs on news at ten they would see it in all its hideous, grotesque glory and be shamed into doing something about it.
I watched the "South Bank Show" the other night and And the subject was about Bill Bryson the author, who went back to Des Moines where he was born and he did'nt shirk from showing them from top to bottom in a film clip at the local shopping-mall.
Mind you he did cop a load of flak at the local radio station for that.
Full-frontal fatness, lets see more of it!

The reason faces aren't shown is because the lard-arses, as you call them, may not be fat by choice and therefore showing their fat, sweaty, greasy mugs on news at ten would be just another embarrassment some can do little about.

They wouldn't see it in all its hideous, grotesque glory and be shamed into doing something about it they would just think they are being branded as something by people who don't even know them.

Kids on steroids to fight certain illnesses become fat not because they want to become fat but because the drug makes them that way.

It's the same for some adults, not forgetting other illness that cause weight gain without any drug being prescribed.

If I saw myself from the waist down on the news I would recognise myself.
