Blaster Bates RIP

remember this guy from my youth, quite funny with his tales from his many years of demolition.
He, often spectacularly, blew up chimneys, the late, great, Fred Dibnah took them down by hand, fire and old pit props.
Both were excellent raconteurs and I booked them both for clients in the 1970s and 1980s.
"Blaster" tended to be a bit more "racy" than Fred and was always annoyed that Fred didn't approve of dynamite demolition.
