Saturday Night Takeaway,

Now I know I'm probably tempting ridicule here but I think it's great to see this show back after too long a break!

British family entertainment at its best, no "reality" or "celebrity" nonsense in it's title, just good clean saturday night viewing.

Anyone who saw it tonight must agree, and those who didn't missed a treat, they recreated someones living room in the studio, absailed off a BBC building for Ant v Dec and had Philip Schofield and Fern paintballing out of a Ford Capri car window while pulling a caravan round a race track!!

Not one sign of ego, just seems like 2 mates having a laugh, and I for one thoroughly enjoyed it!!

Roll on next week

cheers

P.S. spare a thought for the poor cow at the end who didn't realise she'd gambled 2 cars and a few other nice prizes.... and lost !laugh!

Good on ya son! Nice to see someone standing up for what they like. I caught a glimpse of it before I went out and thought the same.

yes, good clean entertainment.........they should keep the formula that works, what irks viewers is that these cheeky chappies seem to be on EVERYTHING and are in danger of over exposure. The piss poor soccer thing and the even piss poorer golf thing over the summer were ventures their agents should have passed over

Hi Ace,

With reference to the golf thing they did, now I didn't actually see it, but I know that was their project all together, presenting as well as the production side, so there agents can't be blamed for that one!!

I actually enjoyed "The Match" even though come of the "celebs" blatantly use it just to get there mugs back from the TV wilderness!!

cheers
