..in the world of football for example....

Claude Makaleli is always decribed as the "un-sung hero" of the Chelsea team, but surely, this constant compliment is in fact a contridiction in terms?!?!

Being praised in this way must mean he isn't "unsung" but...erm... "sung!!??"

I don't bloody know

cheers

!drink!

You're correct. What they should say is: "Makaleli 'was' an un-sung hero, until I've just realised it, and told the world."

Although you're correct, you worry too much...........chill out! !laugh!

As a chelsea die hard, it means everyone sings the praises of the more 'known' players, ala Terry, Joe Cole, Frank Lampard and Robben and the mercanaries we have ala Ashley Cole, Gallas (will be sadly missed), Drogba.
The newbies, ala Shevchenko and Ballack....well, the jury is still out on those, but there are some pedigree players that without whom, Chelsea wouldn't be as good as they are, Claude Makelele is the one that everyone mentions, a great player who does his job exceptionally well and leaves the applause for the names already mentioned.
