Drinking games

Post by mr.dj »

Hi again,

I'm thinking of having a party at my gaff in a few weeks but don't want it to be just people sat around with their own little 6-pack of fosters, I want people to be up, dancing, having fun and generally misbehaving!!

I find the best way for this to happen is for everyone to get steaming!!!

I want to encourage this by getting some good old drinking games up & running, but I only know a couple....

the floor is yours gentlemen........

cheers

!drink!

very simple game....

6 to 12 people is best but you can play with any number.

Start playing when everybody has had at least a couple of drinks.

Sit round a table or in a group on the floor.

You need a wine bottle cork and a lighter.

The 1st person is called 1 ibble dibble, the 2nd is 2 ibble dibble the 3rd is called 3 ibble dibble, and so on..

You burn the bottom of the cork to get it all sooty.

Now pay attention...

The 1st person starts by saying their number and how many times they have been ibble dibbled. like this... Number 1 ibble dibble with no ibble dibbles passing to ( anybody they like, but you can't pass back to the person who passed you the cork) number 4 ibble dibble with no ibble dibbles.

You get an ibble dibble every time you get a persons number wrong or if state the wrong amount of ibble dibbles they have or pass back to the last person. If you get ibble dibbled you must have a drink.

An ibble dibble is a stamp on the face with the sooty cork. that counts as 1 ibble dibble.

When the game gets going you can't pause, if you do you get another ibble dibble.

After a while it becomes incredibly funny for all involved when you are trying to remember how many ibble dibbles you have and the ibble dibble number of all the other players plus how many ibble dibbles they all have.

For example.... number 6 ibble dibble with 8 ibble dibbles passing to number 2 ibble dibbles with 12 ibble dibbles, who must then pass on with out pausing.

Nobody is ever out

The game goes on for as long as you want

The winner is the person with the least amount of ibble dibbles

You will have to keep relighting the cork as the soot wears off. Make sure it has cooled down before you ibble dibble someone.

The soot washes off very easily at the end.

Now after I have typed all that out you can at least play the game.

Let me know how you get on.

The last time we played, my head was hurting from laughing so hard.

ibble bibble is a great game

you could also try the thumb game

everyone sitting around just talking and someone puts their thumb on the table surreptitiously, when another person notices they put their thumb on too and so on, the last person to notice does a down

or you could go for the classic 'fuzzy duck'

or word association

oh god, no wonder my liver is fucked
