Beers - Theakstons, Yates of Aspatria, Cains of Liverpool, Spitfire, Summer Lightning, Deuchars IPA, Ruddles, Batemans XXXB, Bishops Ale, Marstons.

Knats Piss -John Smiths, Stones, Youngs, Timothy Taylors, Fullers. Most pints of bitter sold in London and the South East by lazy landlords who couldn't keep a cat never mind beer!

Lagers - Kronenbourg, Carling Extra Cold, Warsteiner and a really cold pint of Tennents!

Ultra Piss. Budwesier, Michelob, XXXX, McEwans, Becks, Grolsch, Heineken, Amstel, all badly brewed chemical shite.

Northern beer is piss, i live in Kent where we grow the hops and barley that make the beer, yes we know how to make a strong ale , better than that watered down piss you drink oop north!wicked!

this post is so quickly going to turn into a typical "north vs south" debate, so...

All I`ll say is the subject of English beer being flat piss is one of the few things I`ll agree with Americans about

All beer is yack ...if it came in a medicine bottle and you had to take a spoonful every morning you'd all pull right faces and shudder.
Over years you have conditioned yourselves into thinking you like the taste of it.

I tried Guiness only once when I worked at Cheltenham Cup week a few years ago and the place was full of Micks knocking back the Oirish Black Stuff.
I had a mouthful and casually put it down and not picking it up again.

couldn't agree with you more, nastro azzuro must be the most drinkable bottle on the market, so refreshing if a little pricey.

But couldn't DISagree with you more about Kronenburgh, that's the draught i tend to stickto whe i go out....and it puts you on your arse!!!
