I would just like to take this opportunity through the BGAFD forum to wish the Europe team the very best of luck in the matchplay singles on the final day of the Ryder Cup.
A great team effort to which every player has contributed. 10-6 at the moment, four and a half more points to win it out right AGAIN.
Come on Europe keep the Ryder Cup where it belongs on this side of the big pond!!!!

Maybe they should make it Europe vs The Rest Of The World next time...to give the Yanks a chance!
Seriously though....what a great final day! Some amazing golf from both sides...Casey! That man was on fire! And very moving scenes at the end with Darren Clarke who lost his wife recently.
Congrats Europe!

Well done Europe if only England had shown as much team spirit and ability at the World Cup in the summer.
A special well done to Darren Clark who won all his 3 matches just a few weeks after his wife died from cancer and to Ian Woosnam for having the foresight to pick Darren and Lee Westwood his other wild card pick.
How long before the yanks lose interest in the Ryder Cup if they keep getting hammered?
Tremendous sporting event!!!!

Watching the highlights, I couldn't get over the fact the Yanks looked bored stiff and couldn't wait till it was over so they could fuck off home again.
Still, thats not to take away what Europe did.........again, makes up for the disgraceful behaviour from the American public at Brookline a few years back.

Its a sad fact of the times that playing for your country for pride alone has long gone. England at the World Cup also springs to mind

The Ryder Cup really is a top class sporting event.
Roll on 2008, so we can kick some American ass AGAIN. Pity its not at Brookline so we can gain revenge for the shocking behaviour of the Americans for running on the green before we had even attempted our putt.
