nikon d80 digital

i have just purchased the long awaited nikon d80 to replace my d50..but oh oh oh i am so heartbroken as i have found that i just do not get the sharpness of pictures that i got with my d50..even after custo settings to compensate... i am absolutely gutted...would love to know if anyone else has any feedback...

thanks for that i will certainly give it a go..liked the look of the canon but don't really want to change all my lenses as well..

I think you have a faulty D80 there. I've used Nikon for 30 years. I tried Canon when their 300D came out and got rid of it as I had sharpness problems with it and also I don't like the white balance on Canon digital cameras.

Nearly all my web work is shot with a D70s but I don't use a kit lens. I would recommend anyone to buy the body only and then splash out on a decent Nikkor lens.
