Ron Jeremy on Channel 4

Dunno if its been passed over by the moderators, but Monday evening on Channel 4 at 11.05pm, is a documentary on legendary porn actor Ron Jeremy. Its a 90 min programme so might be good.

I saw it a few weeks ago on one of the sat, chanels and it is good viewing. It shows how he is a legend in american porn, but also showed him to be quite lonley and something missing from his life. He always wanted to be a mainstream actor but got into porn cos he was skint. The rest as they say is History.

Actually, Ron started out as a school teacher and auditioned for some low key Broadway shows without sucess. To suppliment his meagre income, he did some test shoots for low budget porn in New York before being jettisoned off to the bright lights of Hollywood.
He is a very insecure person off camera, and 'comes alive' with an audience. He is very witty and articulate too, and has always shunned cocaine........if that is to be believed.
He has appeared in a mainstream film in a cameo role, (see Killing Zoe, an early Quentin Tarantino film, he is a bank clerk that is blasted by the bankrobbers) He did it as a favour to Tarantino who was then 'introduced' to a porn actress whom he dated for several months...now THATS a good return for a favour!!

The Hedgehog is a legend isn't he?!
He was in the first porn flick I ever watched, Hawaii Vice 8 (no Brits in it alas).
I saw the prog on E4 a couple of weeks ago and it is certainly worth watching.
