Hey!!

Conversation at work today about the hardest working bit part actors in british sit film and television (Look i work with me dad sex and drug related chats are out of the question) and there was one bloke who i can picture coz he was in every bloody sit com made in the seventies. But no idea what his name was. So thats where you come in. Right the only solid role i can actually put him in is as the delivery driver in the good life xmas special (1977) who has too take xmas back. He usually played the same type of depressing character rolls or goverment inspector/tax man roles. Look i know this makes me a very very sad man but please help!!

i recall him didnt know he died though,1st see him a Play for today , Rutland weekend television.

I remember him in Rutland Weekend Television.

He played one of the Rutles in the TV version of the Beatles spoof

He also played the shopkeeper in the original Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory film.

One of those actors who you see all the time - but never know their name.

I saw the other month that an actor call Michael Attwell had died.

He was another actor who appeared to have been in everything, Minder, The Bill, Eastenders, Dr Who, Lovejoy, usually playing a hard-nut.

Sad when faces like that disappear from TV drama and you don't notice.

yes he had that voice and prescence that me me laugh.
