By the way, the Led Zeppelin footage (from Danish TV in 1969) is included in the extras on this DVD:

The small studio audience simply sat on the floor in a ring around the band. The band are superb, with Jimmy Page in particularly good form. This is everything he must have wished The Yardbirds might have been, but never could - lacking, as it was, one John Bonham.

I had the pleasure recently of shooting an interview with Ms Agutter, and took the opportunity to thank her for the great joy she had brought to this adolescent male and many others back in 1970 by certain parts of her performance in 'Walkabout'. Can you imagine it going out on American terrestial TV at any time of day never mind 2.45pm. Thank you Ch5

Easily the best live retrospective available on a band, truly classic footage, let's hope with the big 40th anniversary of The Pink Floyd next year they finally put something together to match it, apparently Storm Thorgeson is already at work on some artwork for what he describes as "Something special" for the big 40

According to the Radio Times it is "edited for nudity and violence".

Watched Walkabout this afternoon on ch5 and what a great film.... Jenny was so..... pretty.
(I was surprised just how much body was shown for an afternoon film) And to think back in 1970 that would have never been allowed on TV even for late night viewing...

Good thing too.
We just want to see them sing and play their instruments.
