Red Ken Suckered?

I had to grin yesterday when I heard that Venezuelan Presidential clown, Hugo Chavez, had stubbed out Red Ken Livingstone. Seems Hugo was pretending to be Red Ken?s pal (offering him cheap oil for his wanky busses) earlier this year, just to get up the nose of our Tony. But now that Hugo has used Ken to score some political points he doesn?t need him anymore and was, apparently, ?too busy? to see him on a pre-planed visit where they would sign the cheap oil deal. Ha! What a pair of twats, hey? A wonder if Ken had already packed his swimming trunks? I bet he was well sick, he must have been looking forward to a bit of taxpayer funded newt spotting in the Venezuelan rain forest.

Chavez has been trying to gain political kudos by giving away his country's oil at cheap prices to tossers like Fidel Castro and Ken Livingstone. However, the spot price of oil has been falling recently, so he has probably decided to rein back on these sweetheart deals which make no economic sense. A good thing for the people of Venezuela, since it's their money he's been pissing away to make himself look the big I am, and if it makes Red Ken look like the sack of shit he he really is, so much the better.

Red Ken or Green Ken as he also likes to be known should not be looking to buy cheap oil for his wanky buses he should be looking to replace them with electric ones, now that would really make him green.

But isn't electricity made from coal and oil fired power stations (with the odd bit of thermonuclear explosion here and there), and would that not make him 'Pretends to be Green Ken'?

Alright, alright. run the buggers on chip oil like I do. I have a 4x4 and when some tosser says oh! you're destroying the environment using that great thing, I reply in a cocky manner, carbon-neutral mate..
Mind's you the only problem with it is you don't half get hungry at strange times when you step out of the car, for some reason you always want a large Kebab with extra chilli sauce!

Jacques i was just waiting for someone to say this, if you replaced old buses with electric ones the extra power needed could be supplied by wind power now wouldnt that be nice when you are in Central London to be able to breathe some clean air instead of the shit that Kens old buses spew out, there is a payback of course it means you will need wind turbines around our coastline which some may see as a blot on the landscape, but you cant have your cake and eat it too.

Why do you drive a 4X4?
And didn't making it use up more of the planet's resources?

I go to a reputable dealer i.e. that means it costs me 79p a litre, and to answer Mart's question, I live in the country, tow a double-axle caravan (no I'm not a Pikey) and finally I don't live in Chelsea or Kensington.
