can someone in the know tell me if emails can miraculasly disappear out of ur web based email account????


i had several emails all from the same person that have now just vanished from a file on my yahoo email account?

no other strange activity and no one else has access to my emails.


anyone got any ideas???

Disappearing e-mails?

Only had the experience not recieving them when someone has said they sent one too me and visa viera sometimes.

Some hacker might have got hold of you e-mail account details its possible!

yes but why just delete mails from that one person????

Maybe its him doing the deleting?

If Yahoo! is set up as an Exchange Server (I don't know if it is or not) you can recall and delete sent emails.

Something similar happened to me when someone deleted their account- I could see the emails but couldn't open them. I'm not sure why you can't even see them though. Love your work by the way

It is more than likely a hacker, if I were you I would change pass word
or get new email account asp. Hacker got into my email and suddenly I start to see stuff on forums in my real name that I didnt post and they used the account to do vast amounts of spam. All of this I found out from the in coming emails - it was a shock a day.

i left messenger open once about a year ago and all my files attachements and messages i was keeping all got deleted even the address book.
