This is all very jolly and amusing, but this is a very serious issue (unlike the conspiracy theory thread) that is affecting more and more people in inner city areas. Real people ? and all to often in the most negative and horrible way imaginable.



What makes me angry about this is the fact that this case is not at all unusual. In fact it seems that something like this happens every two or three weeks or so. Just a couple of weeks ago there was the case of the black gang who savagely attacked and beat innocent Londoners as they made their way home to their families ? for no particular gain (a few quid maybe) except for the pleasure of hurting people. A Few weeks prior to that it was the conclusion of the Damilola Taylor case. Similar in every respect (except that in this instance the victim was black) and there was a string of similar incidents all through the summer. Here are a few more -













This latest case involved a very bright young man who had a real worthwhile future ahead of him (not to mention a marriage). He would have added something to the nation ? unlike the brainless, sociopathic, scum that stabbed him dead (even black MP, Dian Abbot, referred to them as ?these savages? on Andrew Neil?s ?This Week? program. It says a lot about these fuckers that they hardly gave his murder a second thought (though ?thought? might be an oxymoron in their case). All they got was a mobile phone and a wanky rail card. And the, next day, as if nothing had happened, without a care in the world they blithely strolled back to the station to use the dead man?s railcard. What utter scum. It seems life has no value to them, at all.

So, let?s not scoff at this issue, because the next time someone is stabbed or raped on their way home to their families it could be someone you know, someone you love, and their lives are worth far, far, more that those of the sociopathic bad brains who perpetrate these type of inner-city crimes.

What I?d also like to examine is the state of these people?s minds. What are they thinking (if anything)? How can they kill or hurt someone without the slightest concern or feeling? What can be done about it?

Violent crime is violent crime, whatever the colour or ethnicity of the perpetrator. The lawyer's murder was appalling. So was the Kriss Donald murder you raised a few weeks back, but so too are the hundreds of killings and woundings that take place every year.

If people want to make a serious point about crime within our society, then fine, make that point. Saying that most offenders are black may very well be true in some areas of the country, as Terry says in the other thread. But look at context, look at the population of those areas, and look at the types of crimes committed.

Too many visitors to this forum seem to want to push their own BNP-style agenda on every crime-related subject. If Warren and Diplo are ripping the pish out of their arguments and they don't like it, well they can take their ball and go home. Intelligent reasoning----something you display, Officer, and something you advocate----is better than allowing sweeping generalisations to go unchallenged.

Its a really shitty thing that hapened to this solicitor but if you want to throw up his name. I could throw up Stephen Lawrence and we will never get anywhere with this argument. For every good white person Ican name a good black person. Lets not let our emotions blind us to the real issues at hand here

Sending blacks back to Africa may stem the tide in the short run but are you saying there wasnt that much crime before black folks reached these shores? A crime is a crime and the colour of the perpetrator is incidental. Stupidity and ignorance is universal and not indigenous to one colour or race.

Lets not poo poo the fact there are a lot of people of colour contributing good things to our society. It is always going to be marred by the acts of a minority of mindless thugs.

I grew up in and around gangs, they were all white and they commit exactly the same crimes and any other race. It depends on the areas you live in, in regard to who is commiting the crimes.

Funny thing is about these smurfs is that the perception at times that people are only concerned about their issues and the wombles, moomins, snorks and munchins and who suffer as much as they do as they to live in the same areas and cuircumstances are not reprensented and made to feel that its their fault.

It comes down to the idea that smurfs and wombles etc are responsible for their own actions and all this talk of smurfs being victims provides ready excuses for individual smurfs and what they choose to do.
